Consultation

With over 20 yrs experience Eiji (Age) Morozumi will provide a full consultation process that can introduce innovative ideas from technical through to construction advice.
Eiji will meet you on site to discuss your dream garden and guide you to the best way of making your garden. Having a professional design helps to minimise common “gardening” mistakes and saves money in the longer term.

Our areas of expertise include:
Garden design & construction, bonsai, water features, pond filters for Koi, Japanese style gazebo, Japanese style architecture, decking & bridges, Japanese interior and exterior advice.


Design

Traditional and contemporary design of Japanese and other gardens detailed specifications drawings and plans.

Our scope of work includes commercial and office gardens, residential properties from small apartments and balconies to broad-acre rural landscapes in a variety of styles including Japanese, contemporary and natural.


Concept Plan

This includes a consultation and coloured plan for you to see your dream come close to reality. Often a Concept Plan rather than a Landscape Plan may be adequate to construct your garden if carried out under my supervision.


Landscape Plan

This follows on from the Concept Plan to provide full working drawings enabling you to construct your garden. Specifications for features and materials are provided including a full plant legend detailing botanical and/or common names.
Landscape Plans are usually drawn to 1:100 scale, with larger scale drawings detailing feature work. Where essential to construction three dimensional sketches are provided.


Project Management

We will look after your project and keep a close eye on contractors to complete your garden to the highest possible standard. This gives the advantage of only having to deal with “me” the supervisor rather than a number of contractors.

Workshops & Seminars

Eiji Morozumi is available for workshops and seminars.
He has conducted several entertaining and informative workshops and seminars on Japanese gardens and bonsai over the past 10 years . He has also appeared in many publications and had guest appearances on radio and television.

 

Tours of Japan

Eiji has recently conducted a Guided Tour of some of the Best Gardens and Bonsai Exhibitions in Japan on a very reasonable budget. Future tours will be held subject to demand. A budget tour requires a minimum of 9 people.

As well as Garden and Bonsai Tours he is available for Gourmet and Hot Spring Tours.
